Even though I don’t really believe in God or Jesus anymore, I still find myself praying when I’m down in the darkest times of my life. Just pretending like I’m not alone when I really am helps me calm down enough to drift into peaceful sleep.

Sitting in class, all I hear are fellow students talking about concerts and such. It really blows my mind that these kids honestly have not heard of music outside of the radio. That these people go to maybe 1 or 2 “concerts” a year, spend $30-$50 for tickets, and sit in seats.
